| Royal Yachting Association Practice Navigation Tables |
| This booklet contains all the sailing directions, pilotage and passage notes, tide tables and graphs, tidal stream atlases for the area covered by the charts. This almanac is used throughout your course as you would use a nautical almanac or pilot book in real life. Two practice charts which are used for plotting courses, fixing positions and conducting simulated passages. |

| Revision Pack |
| Supplied at the end of the course containing a concise course notes booklet and Royal Yachting Association test exercises similar to those found in the Royal Yachting Associations exams. |

| Exams |
| The Day Skipper course has two exams one on navigation and one on seamanship. The Coastal Skipper Yachtmaster course has 3 exams navigation, meteorology and rules of the road. You will be sent the exams in a sealed envelope. There are detailed instructions on each envelope telling you what publications you can use and the length of the exam. Complete the exam, record the length of time taken and sign the declaration that you only used the publications allowed. Return the chart and answers along with the declaration and exam papers back to Longitude School of Navigation for marking. Upon successfully completing a Royal Yachting Association course, a certificate will be issued. |
